Selected high-quality papers from SWSM 2026 may be invited for further consideration by IWA Publishing.

Following the conference, selected contributions may be invited to submit a full manuscript for independent peer review and possible publication in Water Science & Technology or another relevant IWA Publishing journal, subject to the publication arrangements agreed with IWA Publishing.

Acceptance of an abstract for oral or digital-poster presentation at SWSM 2026 does not guarantee publication. Any manuscript invited for journal consideration will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review and editorial procedures.

Detailed information regarding manuscript selection, submission requirements, eligible journals and deadlines will be communicated to selected authors once the publication arrangements with IWA Publishing are finalised.
